- Description
- The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Midwest, is seeking SBA certified HUBZone small businesses, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms capable of completing small construction projects at Navy and Marine Corps reserve centers throughout Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin. Projects may include HVAC repair, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, roof repair/replacement, minor paving, painting, carpet installation and other general construction. The Government contemplates an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity ( IDIQ ) Mini-Multiple Award Construction Contract ( MACC ) for facility support construction located within the NAVFAC Midwest Area of Responsibility (AOR), including the above-mentioned states. The potential contract term includes a base year for a period of 12 months with options to extend the term of the contract for up to three (3) additional 12 month periods. The Government intends to award firm-fixed-price task orders ranging from $2,000 to $500,000. The maximum anticipated value for this requirement, including all task orders, is $5 million. All certified HUB Zone small businesses and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses are encouraged to respond. Upon review of industry response to this Sources Sought Notice, the Government will determine whether to proceed with a solicitation. The appropriate NAICS Code is 236220. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. It is a market research tool used by the Government to determine the availability and adequacy of potential sources in preparation of acquisition strategy. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this announcement. It is requested that interested sources complete the attached market questionnaire and submit it by e-mail to: barry.vanorden@navy.mil and clearly labeled with the firm name and sources sought title: SM MACC NAVFAC MW Submissions must be received at the office cited no later than 4:00 PM Central Standard Time on 1 November 2010.
