- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the Department of the Interior Office of Surface Mining Reclamation & Enforcement Appalachian Region AML Emergency Federal Reclamation Programs Invitation to Bid on the Brenda Devine Subsidence in Madisonville, Hopkins County, Kentucky. The work to be performed will include furnishing all labor, plant, power, equipment, and performing all operations in drilling grout holes; proving handling, transporting, storing, mixing, and injecting grouting materials; care and disposal of drill cuttings, waste water and waste grout; if necessary methane gas monitoring and venting; cleanup, revegetation and restoration of the area upon complete of the work; and all other such operations as incidental to the project as specified. Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for 10:00 AM CST on Tuesday, November 16, 2010. Prospective bidders are to meet at the Madisonville Golf and Country Club on Country Club Lane in Madisonville, KY. Estimated price range is $275,000 - $375,000. NAICS 237990 applies. Size Standard $33.5M. Sealed bids will be opened by OSM in Pittsburgh, PA at 2:00 PM EST on Wednesday, November 24, 2010. 20% Bid Bond is required. Electronic and/or faxed bids will not be accepted.
