Description
Design and construct an additional information processing support center. Project will provide an addition to the existing facility for information management/information technology (IM/IT) mission and include customer service areas, administrative space and IM/IT workrooms. The existing backup generator will be relocated which will include utilities, site improvements, and parking. The project will consist of an approximately 10,000 square-foot, new facility. The project will be designed in accordance with criteria prescribed in Unified Facilities Criteria UFC 3-580-01, DoD Minimum Antiterrorism Standards for Building UFC 4-010-01, Americans with Disabilities Act and Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standards for Building UFC 4-010-01, Americans with Disabilities Act and Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADA/ABAAG), and applicable energy conservation legislation. Operations and maintenance manuals will be provided. Air Conditioning: 75 tons. This will be a design build procurement. This Sources Sought is published under NAICS 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction The Government intends to procure the necessary design-build services through a Firm Fixed Price contract, anticipated for award in Fiscal Year 2011. Potential Small Business Contractors (including HUBZone SB / 8(a) SB / SDVOSB), capable of functioning as Prime Designer and possessing the qualifications necessary to satisfy the design and construction that meets all of the following criteria: (1) New building construction, (2) Information management / information technology (3) Site work and parking lot construction (4) Utility including sanitary, storm, water, and communications. DO NOT SUBMIT A PROPOSAL OR SF-330 AT THIS TIME.
