Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Contractor shall deliver FIVE (5) 44-46 Passenger Buses or Equivalent to Fort Hunter Liggett for a 10 month lease. The vehicles are to be used to transport Soldiers with their load bearing equipment to include rucksacks, and weapons within the Fort Hunter Liggett training areas over improved and unimproved roads. Maintenance and fluids to be provided as required. Replacement bus service will be required in the event of a breakdown or accident. Buses must be in good running condition and interior and exterior must be in good condition.
