- NSN 1670-00-486-4891, Solicitation SPM4A7-11-R-1268, PR IQC10306009055. This proposed Indefinite Quantity Contract is for a Harness, Personnel Parachute, Chest. The procurement item description cites DWG #: 98750 68J420 AMEND NR G DTD 73 MAR 05 Type# P/N 68J420-101. Item is life support equipment. This procurement is Unrestricted, Full and Open Competition. Soliciting for an Indefinite Quantity contract for a base year and four option years. Estimated Annual Demand for all five years is 1,629 each. There is a guaranteed minimum of 477 each for the base year only. This procurement is FOB Destination with Inspection and Acceptance at Origin. QPL 6645 applies. The required delivery is 255 days ARO. Surge is not required. Type I Shelf Life applies. Government First Article and Textile tests are required. Mylar applies. Configuration Control applies. This is a Critical Application Item (CAI) and configuration controlled. This is NOT a Critical Safety Item. Automated Best Value System (ABVS) applies.
