Description
Attachment 1; Standard Form 1449; (Solicitation). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is SAQMMA11Q0014 and is issued as an Requestfor quotation (RFQ). The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334515 with a small business size standard of 500.00 employees. This solicitation will result in the award of one Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA), to the vendor determined to be responsive and responsible. This soliciation is a Total Small Business set-aside. The successful vendor must be electronically registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representation and Certifications Applications Registration (ORCA). The Department of State is seeking to place a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) between one firm that would allow Department of State to place delivery orders against the agreement at the future date. The BPA, in and of itself, does not directly or automatically provide funding to the winning firm(s). The competition for the BPA allows all interested firms to submit their proposals to Department of State describing how their firm is capable and qualified to perform the duties outlined in the BPA. See Attachment 1: Standard Form 1449, (Solicitation).
