- Velocity Radars W900KK-10-R-0017 Special Notice #4 Closing Date: January 30, 2011 The Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI); Project Manager for Instrumentation, Targets and Threat Simulators (PM ITTS); Instrumentation Management Office (IMO) announces 1) a change in solicitation number; 2) pursuit of a new acquisition strategy; and, 3) cancellation of questions regarding solicitation W900KK-10-R-0017. The solicitation number is revised to reflect the new Government Fiscal Year from W900KK-10-R-0017 to W900KK-11-R-0017. All revised documentation will be posted under the new solicitation number. The Government has changed the acquisition strategy from a commercial Trade-off process utilizing FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15 to that a commercial Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) RFP using FAR Part 12 and FAR 15.201. Further, these changes have also precipitated canceling responses to questions and comments from Industry under W900KK-10-R-0017. Milestones include: Synopsis within 15 days of this notice; RFP within 60 days from Synopsis. Anticipated Award Date remains unchanged at 24 March 2011.
