- Market Research - Cable Television Services THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Bureau of Prisons has a requirement for the provision of Cable Television Services for the Federal Medical Center (FMC) Devens in Ayer, Massachusetts. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 515210 (Size Standard: $14 million in annual revenues). The Government contemplates awarding of a two year requirement with a firm-fixed unit price. The contractor shall furnish service connected to the existing institution wiring. The facility currently has 60 outlets in several different locations. The contractor will be responsible for providing additional units or outlets in the future if needed. If additional units are needed, payment will be adjusted to reflect an increase. The contractor must be able to provide 24 hour services at no additional cost. The contractor will ensure that all licenses and agreements which are necessary to provide these programming services are obtained prior to providing services. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. A Market Survey Questionnaire is available, and will be distributed solely through General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including any subsequent amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. The response date for the market survey is November 24, 2010. No telephone requests or written requests for the Market Survey Questionnaire will be accepted. All responses to the Market Survey Questionnaire may be submitted in hard copy to JBullen@bop.gov or faxed to 978-796-1131, Attn: Jason A. Bullen, Contract Specialist. Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit equally with other organizations for requirements for which they are eligible.
