Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division is looking to procure one(1) Steel Enclosure; 20' x 40' x 13' (eave). Shelter shall be designed to the latest IBC, UFC and AISC structural Standards. Seismic design category "B", soil site class "D" shall apply. Shelter must be able to withstand a 20 PSF snow load and a 110 MPH wind load (3 second gust). This enclosure must be portable, able to be erected in one day and also able to be lifted intact by a crane. Roof pitch will be 2:12. Will contain 3 single personnel doors 3'-0" W x 7'-0"H (including standard closer and lockset). Structure shall contain 6 skylights located in ceiling which are to be approximately 3' wide by 6' in length. They should be made with using exterior and interior translucent sheets with an air gap in between. Exterior sheet shall conform to ASTM 3841 Type CC1, Grade 2 and interior sheet shall conform to ASTM D635 Type CC1 both with limited flammability. Unit will come with steel base w/Anchors to stabilize Building when lifting. There will be integral lifting lugs (or equivalent). It is envisioned that the primary mode a movement will be through intact crane lifting from one location to another but there is a requirement to be able to disassemble and store the structure. Structure should be built using discrete panels than can be assembled, disassembled and reassembled multiple times. Structure shall be delivered such that the components are grouped in reusable containers/racks that can be lifted by a forklift. This announcement consitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All vendors must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) Database. The internet website is http://www.ccr.dlsc.dla.mil/ccringq or www.ccr.gov. It is mandatory to register with the CCR as your Duns Number(Data Universal Numbering System) and your CAGE (Commercial and Government Entity) code will be required to conduct business with the Department of Defense. In addition, all invoices will be electronically submitted in the Wide Area Work Flow(WAWF); information available in FAR Clause 5252.232-9513.
