- The Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Maritime Norfolk, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Contracting Office, intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract to procure three types of magnetic contactors to be installed by the Norfolk Naval Shipyard on the USS Harry S. Truman. The contactors shall be fabricated in accordance with Military Specification MIL-DTL-2212J(SH) dated 22 January 2008. A First Article Test Report, shock and vibration test documentation, an engineering product drawing, a provisioning technical document, and an engineering product drawing will be required for each type of contactor. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 335931 (Current-Carrying Wiring Device Manufacturing) and the procurement will be unrestricted.
