Description
The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought is to identify potential sources that can provide Tactical Automatic Tank Gauging (TATG) equipment. The TATG equipment must operate and support inventory management information to transfer seamlessly into Department of Defense (DoD) licensed software Tactical Fuels Manager Defense (TFMD) version 8.0. Army tactical fuel points rely on the use of collapsible fabric tanks ranging in size from 10,000, 20,000, 50,000, and 210,000 gallon sizes. Tanks must be capable of storing military grade fuel. The automated gauging equipment shall be capable of measuring volume in collapsible fabric tanks and downloading real time volume measurements to the accuracy stated below, in weather conditions of Afghanistan, and to transmit this information via wired technology to a central receiver using TFMD software. (1) Accuracy requirement: Maximum allowable gain or loss for military grade fuel is.005. (2) Afghanistan Temperature Variations: The TATG must operate in temperatures range of -20 C to 50 C. The requested information will be used by the Government for market research purposes only and is not a Request for Proposal or a Request for Quote in that it will not be used to place an order with any vendor directly. This is for informational purposes only and the Government will not be obligated to award to any interested vendors that present information in response to this RFI. Point of contact for this acquisition is Ms. Fern McAvay, 443-861-8019. For questions of a technical nature please contact Mr. Tony Kazmierski, 703-767-8333, Army Petroleum Center (APC).
