- RFQ SF 1449 11/23/10: Solicitation Posted Please do NOT call or send an email regarding this synopsis. Please monitor this website for the complete solicitation. Then submit a quote if you have date and space availability. SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT : The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) requires guest rooms, meeting rooms, and hotel services of a qualified hotel in Washington, DC or Crystal/Pentagon City, VA for the OCC's 2011 Career Forum Conference. The conference shall be held on Wednesday and Thursday during one of the following dates: 2011 Dates October 3-5 October 25-27 October 4-5 October 31-November 2 October 11-13 November 1-3 October 17-19 November 7-9 October 18-20 November 28-30 October 24-26 November 29-December 1 MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS : The hotel must 1) be compliant with the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990, 15 U.S.C. 2201 et seq, (Public Law 101-391) and hold a FEMA certification number; 2) be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, 42 U.S.C. Section 12101 et seq. (ADA); and 3) have one of the following ratings: First class or higher per the Official Hotel Guide; three diamonds or higher per AAA; three crowns or higher per the OAG Business Travel Planner. HOW TO ACQUIRE A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION : The OCC anticipates issuing the solicitation through this web site no later than November 23, 2010. The solicitation document will contain the details of OCC's requirements, the instructions for submitting a quote, and how the quotes will be evaluated. THIRD PARTIES... If you submit a quote on behalf of a hotel, you must follow the instructions in Part IV of the RFQ. This is NOT a small business set-aside. It is a full and open competition using simplified acquisition procedures under the Commercial Item Test Program (FAR Subpart 13.5). All responsible hotels may submit a quote that will be considered by the OCC. OCC anticipates awarding the contract in December 2010.
