Description
NAICS Code: 511210 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Securities Management Division (SMD) in Washington, DC, intends to award a Purchase Order to Intercede, LTD under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The purposeof this purchase order is a maintenance agreement to maintain the existing software platform already installed at EPA. The anticipated period of performance is 1/1/11 -12/31/11. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 511210. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. It has been determined that Intercede, LTD is uniquely qualified to satisfy the Government's requirement as they are the sole owner of the software product, MyID. Currently, Intercede is the producer of the MyID Identity and Credential management System (IDCMS). Intercede's MyID is the only IDCMS software product that enables Federal Agencies to easily and securely manage the identities of people and their associated identity credentials within a single, integrated, workflow driven platform. This includes enabling and managing: secure registration, biometric capture, application vetting and approval through to smart card personalization, issuance and management. MyID contains all the tools necessary to start managing identities and issuing devices such as smart cards and USB tokens. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement, as stated herein, may submit their corporate capabilities, which, if received by the response date of this announcement, may be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing and submitted to Michelle Croan, Contract Specialist, to croan.michelle@epa.gov. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All questions should be directed to Michelle Croan, Contract Specialist, via e-mail to croan.michelle@epa.gov.
