- Description
- NAICS Code: 511210 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Securities Management Division (SMD) in Washington, DC, intends to award a Purchase Order to Intercede, LTD under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The purposeof this purchase order is a maintenance agreement to maintain the existing software platform already installed at EPA. The anticipated period of performance is 1/1/11 -12/31/11. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 511210. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. It has been determined that Intercede, LTD is uniquely qualified to satisfy the Government's requirement as they are the sole owner of the software product, MyID. This includes enabling and managing: secure registration, biometric capture, application vetting and approval through to smart card personalization, issuance and management. MyID contains all the tools necessary to start managing identities and issuing devices such as smart cards and USB tokens. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement, as stated herein, may submit their corporate capabilities, which, if received by the response date of this announcement, may be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing and submitted to Michelle Croan, Contract Specialist, to croan.michelle@epa.gov.
