Description

The Cincinnati VAMC has a requirement for a Maintenance Service Agreement for equipment at the Fort Thomas Domiciliary, 1000 South Ft. Thomas Ave., Ft. Thomas, KY, 41075. This notice is provided for informational purposes only. The opportunity is available only to contractors under public law 109-461 and 38 USC 8127. This acquisition will be solicited pursuant to the Veterans' First Public Law as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside. The SDVOSB contractor is required to perform a minimum of 51% of the work on the project. This does not include paperwork, submittals, etc. Contractor shall provide full preventive maintenance checks and sevices (PMCS) shall include but is not be limited to all labor, equipment, tools, materials, parts, supervision, transportation and lodging. Service is required for Government-owned heating, ventilation, air conditioning, chillers, ice makers, evaporators, and various other refrigeration equipment. NAICS Code 238220/$14.0 million. This solicitation will be available only via the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fedbizopps.gov). All Offerors MUST be registered and verified in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and VetBiz.gov Vendor Information Pages. Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package, as no paper copies will be furnished. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REGISTER TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATION OF ACTIONS INCLUDING POSTING OF THE SOLICITATION AND ANY AMENDMENTS. HOWEVER, OFFERORS ARE ADVISED TO CHECK THE Site. FREQUENTLY AS THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING AMENDMENTS. The solicitation will be made available after January 3, 2011. Offerors will need to click on the RFQ VA-250-11-RQ-0046 solicitation in order to download the solicitation documents. Submit all questions to the Contracting Officer, Mary Lu Gilbert, in writing to: VA Medical Center, Contracting Office, 260 East University Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio, 45219 or via email at marylu.gilbert@va.gov by January 14, 2011, 12:00 Noon. All questions will be answered via an amendement to the solicitation posted through www.fedbizopps.gov NLT January 26, 2010. The submission deadline for this solicitation is February 3, 2011 by 2:00 p.m. pacific time. This action is 100 Percent (100%) set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns (38 U.S.C. 8127). The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after closing.
