- Southwest Vehicle Consignment PWS The Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Administration (OA), Seized and Forfeited Property Division (Southwest Vehicle Consignment Program) will be holding an Industry Days at the CBP, Regional Office, located at 150 Westpark Way, Suite 200, Euless, Texas 76040 from January 13 - 14, 2011. The CBP, OA, Seized and Forfeited Property Division will conduct an Indsustry Day in support of the anticipated Southwest Vehicle Consignment Program Solicitation. Any solicitation that will be released will be found on the FedBizOpps web site www.fbo.gov. This industry day is not classified and therefore attendance is not limited to individuals with clearances. However, all personnel that will participate will submit a visit request with their background Investigation information to the Program Manager of the Seized and Forfeited Property Division Mr. William E. Brown, Telephone Number, 317-614-4757, Fax Number, 317-298-1024. Plase provide your information no later than 3:00 PM, Eastern Time, January 10, 2011. Attendance at the Industry Day is voluntary and is not required to propose on the subsquent solicitation (if any) on this topic. CBP will not reimbusrement for costs incurred to participate in this Industry Day. The Indsutry day annoucement does not constitute a formal solicitation for proposals or abstracts. Interested parties to this notice are cautioned that nothing herin obligates the Government to issue a future. Industry Day Objective: To provide industry the opportunity to brief CBP on their propsed solution for the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the Southwest Vehicle Consignment Program. To provide indsutry the opportunity to present recommendations to enhance the PWS by providing quantitative and qualitative measures of performance. In addition, industry may provide a Rough Order of Magnitutude in reference to the PWS. Indsutry Day Goals: The purpose of the Industry Day is to outline the Southwest Vehicle Consignment Program technical goals and challenges and to and to promote both an understanding of the solicitation proposal requirements and to take advantage of synergistic capabilities among potential program participants. It is CBP's desire to faciliatate the formation of strong teams and business relationships in order to develop comprehensive, quality responses to any potential CBP Solicitation for the Southwest Vehicle Consignment Program. Collaborative efforts/teaming are encouraged. Specific content, communications, networking, and team formation are sole responsibility of the participants and shall be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations. Information on the anticipated Southwest Vehicle Consignment Program solicitation will be available in Fedbizopps once the solicitaion has been issued. The Southwest Vehicle Consignment Program Industry Day will be held on January 13 -14 from 9:00 AM through 5:00 PM, with the last vendor presenatation starting at 4:00 PM. Lunch Break will be from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM. The Southwest Vehicle Consignment Program Office will cordinate the conference room, computer, projector, screen, and podium for this event. If any other media are needed please let the Contract Specialist know in advance. The Program Office will also coordiante administrative support for this effort to capture minustes and obtain rosters. Each vendor will be limited to one hour of time and limited to 4 attendees per vendor. Each vendor will present privately to the Government Team. The Government Team will include the Program Manager, Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) and the Procurement Team. CBP will videotape all presentations. All qustions that each vendor has as a result of the Industry Day or the attached Performance work Statement shall be provided in writing by 3:00 PM on January 16, 2010 to the Contract Specialist. The CBP Team will not respond any verbal questions. During the presentations CBP may ask for clarification and the vendor may respond verbally.
