The MICC USAR South - Fort Jackson Contracting is conducting market research for a Small Business hotel that can provide the following requirement: Lodging, Meals, Meeting Rooms, Child Care, Audio Visual Equipment and Transportation to and from the airport in the Orlando FL area. PERIODS OF PERFORMANCE: 5-9 January 2011, 9-13 February 2011, 9-13 March 2011, 6-10 April 2011; 11-15 May 2011; 8-12 June 2011; 6-10 July 2011; 10-14 August 2011; 7-11 September 2011 The appropriate NAICS code is 721110 with a size standard of $30M. Payment will be made monthly using Wide Area Workflow. REQUIREMENTS SLEEPING ROOMS: Approximately 800 Sleeping rooms for 2 nights MEETING ROOMS 1 - General Sessions room for approximately 1200 persons; 9 - Breakout training rooms for 135; 1 - Breakout room for Child Care Activities; 3 - Breakout room for Youth Activities for 30 persons; 4 - Breakout training rooms for 35 persons each; 1 - Breakout Staging room for 120 persons; 1 - Breakout Activity room for 80 persons; 8 - Private meeting rooms for up to 4 persons; 1 - Operations Center with tables and seating for 30 persons; 30- Booth setups; 1 - Registration/Information area MEALS : 1 - Breakfast meal (full, hot breakfast) for 1200 persons 1 - Lunch meal (full, hot lunch) for 1200 persons (includes kid-friendly items for up to 110 children) 1 - Breakfast meal (full, hot breakfast) for 1200 persons AUDIO VISUAL EQUIPMENT 2 - LCD PROJECTORS; 1 - Laptop computer; 9 - LCD PROJECTORS; 9 - Laptop Computers; 2- Laptop computers; 2 - 10 ft Rollup Screens; 8 - 8 ft Rollup Screens ; 1 - Mixer/Transmitter w/house audio; 1 - Podium Microphone; 1 - Cordless Microphone; 1 - Wireless Lavaliere; 8 - Wireless Lavaliere; 8 - Flip charts; 8 - AC Power Strips; 2-42"TV for Youth Activity room (1 each room); 1 -42 in HD TV/Monitor (PDHRA Breakout Activity room); 1 - Wireless Internet connections (Operations Center); 3 - Wireless Internet Connections (General Session, PDHRA Screening room, Booth area); Electricity drops for 30 exhibit booths (Sat-Sun); 1 - High Speed Black & White copier (Operation Center) TRANSPORTATION Airport Transportation for appx 900 personnel: Airport to hotel and Hotel to airport CHILD CARE On-site child care on Saturday and Sunday This synopsis is not a request for proposal. It is a market research tool being used to determine procurement strategy. Appropriate procurement strategy will be determined after consideration of industry response to this sources sought synopsis.
