- Description
- Arnold Engineering Development Center (AEDC), Arnold AFB, Tennessee has a requirement for one (1), 30-Inch NPS 150 pound class and one (1) 30-Inch NPS 300 pound class stainless steel butterfly control valves with electric actuators, motor starters and related mounting hardware. Specifications, not inclusive; Design Pressure, 0.5 to 54 PSIA/Design Temperature,-100 Degree F to + 650 Degree F/Design Flow Rate (max), 70 PPS/Valve Operation, Modulating/ Environmental Conditions: Outside Installation/Unsheltered--Temperature: -20 Degree F to + 110 Degree F--Relative Humidity: 20 to 100%-- Barometric Pressure: 13.7 to 14.5 PSIA. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated. Solicitation package with complete specifications will be released with Request for Proposals (RFP). Requests for Proposals (RFP) will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web page at http://www.fbo.gov on or about 14 Jan 11. Proposal due date will be on or about 15 Feb 11. No hardcopies, faxes, or emails will be available. Please register as a source to be notified of RFP Amendments, Clarifications, etc. However, it is the responsibility of the contractors (even those registered as a source) to check the FBO website frequently to ensure they have all available information. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award.
