Description
This Request for Proposal (RFP) will be a fixed price Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) requirement. Proposals will be solicited from 8(a), firms, then service disabled veteran owned firms and, and then small businesses. If two 8(a) eligible, responsible firms do not respond to the RPP, then Government will proceed to the next tier-service disabled Veteran owned businesses. If two disabled veteran firms do not respond to the RFP, the Government will proceed to the next tier-Small Business. All this is in accordance with DFARS 215.203-70. The anticipated issuance of the above listed solicitation shall be issued on or about January 27, 2011 and closing February 27, 2011. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be posted on the DLA Disposition Service Web page at http://www.drms.dla.mil/newproc/index/htmi. This is an anticipation of a single award for this procurement. The awarded contract will have an eighteen month base period with two eighteen month option periods. Performance will be requested by issuance of written task orders against the contract periods. Prospective contractors and subcontractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system and have obtained a CAGE code at http:www.ccr.gov. All prospective contractors and subcontractors must be able to meet all Federal, State, and local laws and regulations governing the handling, disposal, and transportation of various types of hazardous waste material and comply with environmental laws.
