Description

LandScan TM is a global population distribution model. At approximately 1 km resolution (30" X 30"), LandScan TM is the finest resolution global population distribution data available and represents an ambient population (average over 24 hours). For more information, please visit http://www.ornl.gov/sci/landscan/. UT-Battelle, LLC, acting under its Prime Contract No. DE-AC05-00OR22725 with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for the management and operation of the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), is soliciting interest for exclusive distribution of the LandScan TM dataset. At a minimum, this will include distribution to commercial, academic, and non-profit markets. Applicants must complete license application, which will be provided upon request.
