Description

This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-24. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 325412, size standard 750 to provide Radio-Pharmaceuticals to the VA New Jersey Healthcare System - 385 Tremont Avenue; East Orange, New Jersey 07018-1023. Items shall be delivered on an AS NEEDED basis only. Orders will be placed no greater than 24 hours in advance and shall be delivered by 7:30am Monday through Friday in a designated delivery location namely the Nuclear Medicine Section of the Imaging Service. The vendor shall plan on at least three routine deliveries and or pickups during normal business hours with additional emergency deliveries as needed by the Nuclear Medicine Section within 2 hours as required. The contractor must be licensed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and be regularly established in the business of providing radiopharmaceuticals. Additionally, the contractor shall meet the Department of Transportation, NHPP, FDA, OSHA, and all other agency rules and regulations (Federal and State); the contractor shall abide by the Title Code of Federal Regulations (CFR 10). Contract will be effective January 2011 through September 30, 2011 with four one year options for renewal. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email or fax) and received not later than Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 3:00pm. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. This solicitation will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ with an anticipated opening date of December 20, 2010. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award (see Internet site: http://www.ccr.gov/). All offerors must submit their representations and certifications at the Online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) website at http://orca.bpn.gov. All quotations are to be submitted by either email, Josie.tuitt@va.gov, or FAX (718)741-4722, to the attention of Josie Tuitt or hard copy may be sent to James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Network Acquisition & Logistics (10N3NAL) 130 West Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, New York 10468-3904 by January 13th at 3:00PM.
