This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). Interested offerors must respond to this combined synopsis/solicitation. Proposals in response to this combined synopsis/solicitation must be received by the Government no later than 1:00 PM EDT on January 18, 2011. See attached documents/attachments. TSA has a requirement for a deployable and scalable Video Tele-Conference (VTC) solution that provides a real-time, face-to-face video experience for users at HQ as well as Airport/field locations. The solution shall provide a variety of HD systems, from a full Conference Room Tele-presence to a desktop VTC. Any proposed backend infrastructure must be capable of supporting the maximum ordering quantity of HD systems and work by maximizing TSA's existing infrastructure. Lastly, the proposed solution shall create a live, "face-to-face" experience over the network - empowering collaboration while supporting the Department mandate to minimize non-essential travel.
