Description

Recovery- This notice is issued in accordance with the guidance for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Purchase order # SB1341-10-SU-1032 was awarded to Veeco Instruments Inc. of Plainview, New York on September 16, 2010, in the amount of $2,537,000.00 which included the base item and all option line items. Work required under this purchase order provides for the manufacture, delivery, installation of and training on a Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) System. Modification P001 was executed on September 30, 2010, to exercise three option line items. Modification P002 was executed on December 14, 2010, to incorporate a change to the payment schedule. Modification P003 will be executed to exercise three additional option line items for a Plasma Source, a Solvent Hood, and an Acid/Base Hood and incorporate changes to the payment schedule based on these option line items being exercised. The total value of the purchase order shall be increased by $122,100.00 from $2,266,900.00 to $2,389,000.00.
