Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation notice. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) anticipates award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The BOP is seeking interested and qualified vendors to solicit for an award of a Firm-Fixed Price Contract to install a wheelchair lift at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Englewood, located in Littleton, CO. The commercial services requirements shall be provided in a manner consistent with the services noted in the Statement of Work (SOW) and meet, at the minimum, the ASME guidelines and shall be installed in accordance with the same guidelines. An awardee, from a resultant contract, will provide all equipment, tools, permits, materials and labor necessary to design and install the lift. The period of performance for any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation shall be from the date a notice to proceed is issued through 60 Calendar Days. Performance and payment bonds will be required. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238290. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204(b), the magnitude of this acquisition is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. Participation by small, small-disadvantaged, HUBZone small businesses, woman-owned small businesses, veteran-owned businesses, and service disabled veteran-owned small businesses is encouraged. This acquisition is reserved exclusively for small business. All responsible small business sources are encouraged to submit a bid that will be considered for award. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must be registered on line at the Contractor Central Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. Residency requirements are applicable to this solicitation. Bidding officials and contractor employees working under this contract on Federal grounds will be required to sign a certification that for three of the five years immediately prior to responding to this solicitation, the bidder and employees have: resided in the United States; worked for the U. S. overseas in a Federal or military capacity; or has been a dependent of a federal or military employee serving overseas. Faith-Based and Community-Based organization can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. This notice is not a solicitation or request for offers. Interested offerors may request and obtain a Invitation for Bid (IFB) distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of this solicitation will not be available. The web site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this web site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the web site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition.
