- The Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for the Acquisition of Aviat brand antennas, RFU terminals, and signal processor for the Customs & Border Protection Agency as specified in the attached RFQ (Request for Quotation) form. No other brands or substitutions will be considered. The DOT/FAA anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed-Price type purchase order. All offers are due by 3:00 p.m., Central Standard Time, on Thursday, December 30, 2010. Quotes shall be submitted by facsimile at (405) 954-3111 or e-mail at lori.lemons@faa.gov. Please reference RFQ DTFAAC-11-R-51775. The evaluation criteria for the offers will be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. This RFQ is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of proposals. Therefore any cost associated with the proposal submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. At this time the nature of the competition has not been determined. The FAA may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program. Interested firms are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form and a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. Prior to award of a purchase order, all contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration, www.ccr.gov.
