DESCRIPTION: The intent is to award a indefinite quantity type contract for one year base and four option years. NSN(s): 2990-01-459-7376 Item Description: PUMP,FUEL, ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS/STANDARDS/DRAWINGS "DETAILED DRAWING (ONE ITEM)": I/A/W DRAWING NR 19207 10946915 BASIC AMEND NR M DTD 08/09/95 TYPE NUMBER Unit of Issue: EA Destination Information: Various Conus Stock Locations Required Delivery Schedule: See Solicitation. There is a First Article Test (FAT) Requirement All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. Based on market research this item is manufactured for military use only and is not commercial; therefore, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 in its solicitation for this item. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item with 15 days of this notice. Items will be shipped to a conus location. FOB Destination and inspection at Origin is required. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date of 1/19/11. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. This solicitation is set-aside for small business. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, and past performance. The item under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the US by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. ( X ) The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed __5__ years.
