Description
AMENDMENT 15 The purpose of this amendment is to inform vendors whose systems are not currently certified of an opportunity to participate in EDS certification process and current CBIS Window 1. This effort is a parallel process established to expand vendor participation in the CBIS procurement. This opportunity is open to new participants as well as vendors that have not successfully completed the current CBIS cert process. The certification standard will be per the instructions in Amendment 13. Submission of the QMP is no longer a prerequisite to enter into the Certification process, however, vendors will be required to submit data/documentation prior to the start of each testing event, as needed. In order to support TSIF and OT&E testing, the certification process is scheduled to be completed by August 15, 2011. For scheduling data collection and other CRT activities necessary to complete this newly offered certification opportunity, interested vendors are required to contact Mr. William Petracci (609)-813-2708 ( William.petracci@dhs.gov ) no later than January 7, 2011. All expenses associated with this certification opportunity will be the responsibility of the vendor. Any vendor electing to participate in this process and whose equipment successfully passes certification testing, TSIF testing and OT&E testing per the timelines established by TSA will be placed on a TSA QPL. Vendors who successfully complete certification testing should contact Samantha.m.gray@dhs.gov with a cc to don.kim@dhs.gov, jenel.cline@dhs.gov, and Matt.cobey@dhs.gov on or before August 15, 2011 to make arrangements for TSIF and OT&E testing. As previously stated contracts under the initial QPL will be awarded July 2011. Vendors submitting under the guidelines established in this amendment are not guaranteed an opportunity for the initial July 2011 awards. TSIF and OT&E schedules will be provided by TSA at a later date to participating vendors. NOTE: Three (3) systems are needed for testing. Any questions related to this posting for other than scheduling at the TSL need to be submitted to the TSA email address 'HSTS04EBSP@dhs.gov' by close of business 1/5/2010.
