- Holloman AFB Carpet Synopsis Check One: ___ Initial Posting or _X_ Supplemental to previous Posting (from Sources Sought, etc) Action Code: RFP Action Code: P_--_Pre-solicitation Classification Code: 7220 - Floor Coverings NAICS Code: 238330 -- Floor laying, scraping, finishing and refinishing Contracting Office Address: Department of the Air Force, Air Combat Command, 49 CONS 490 First Street Bldg 29, STE 2160 Holloman AFB, NM 88330-7908 Title: Base Carpet Solicitation Number: FA4801-11-R-0002 Description: This announcement will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The anticipated award will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The period of performance will be for one (1) base year and four (4) one-year option periods. The solicitation shall incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-47. This acquisition is to be set aside and awarded to 100% small business. Carpet Installation - The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation, and other items and services necessary to perform installation of Government/Contractor-furnished carpet/padding as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), which will be posted with the RFP. This is an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type contract with a base performance period of 1 October 2010 through 30 September 2011 and four option years. The total period of performance will be from 1 Oct 2010 through 30 Sept 2015. This proposed procurement is under a 100 percent Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for those concerns and its affiliates is 238330. The small business size standard is $14.0 million. Request for Proposal (RFP) will be tentatively issued on or about 8 Mar 2011 with receipt of proposals tentatively scheduled on or about 7 Apr 2011. Pre-Proposal Conference/Site-visit will be on or around 17 Mar 11 (TBD). Evaluation factors will be supplied in the RFP. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered.
