Mandatory Language: Note: Item Description: Length 11.37 (IN), Height7.00 (IN), Width 5.00 (IN), Weight 15 (LB). Item Function: This itemprovides high power amplification for the ARC-210 communication system.The URA0240L-400 powers the VHF/UHF Communications Band for the US B-52Aircraft. It is standard equipment in the B-52 Bomber and an essentialpart of the voice communications system. Material Content: Aluminumalloy chassis with miscellaneous electronic components. CurrentlyPowerwave Technologies Inc. (Cage 0FST3) is the only known source thatcan satisfy the Government requirements. It is suggested that smallbusiness firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities inconnection with the described procurement make contact with the firms(s)listed: Powerwave Technologies Inc. (Cage 0FST3). An Ombudsman has beenappointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors duringthe proposal development phase of this acquisition.
