Description
Modification 1 The purpose of this amendment is to extend the date for submission of applications from November 5, 2010 to February 15, 2011, 4:00pm Bangkok time. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. Applicants that have already submitted an application can submit a new application in accordance with the instructions in the solicitation, submit updates to their already submitted application, or notify RDMA that they would like to withdraw their application from further consideration. New applicants must follow the instructions for submission of applications in the subject solicitation. This extension in the application deadline was determined necessary based on changing circumstances related to USAID programming in Burma. Applicants are advised that while we anticipate moving forward with selection and award of this contract, given the uncertain circumstances in Burma this solicitation may ultimately be cancelled and no award made. In addition, if an applicant is selected, there could be some delay in contract award due to delays in obtaining a visa for Burma. Further, it may be decided to initially hire the applicant for this position but have the individual based in Bangkok and work out of RDMA until appropriate documentation to work in Burma is completed. These issues may not be resolved prior to final candidate selection but are identified here so potential applicants are aware of the uncertainties and the need for flexibility if they are selected for this position. All other terms and conditions of Solicitation No. 486-10-003 remain unchanged.
