- The USPFO for Texas intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract for enhanced pre-mobilization training consisting of 1) Cultural/Language Awareness Training (Afghanistan and Iraq); 2) Force Protection Driving/Off Road Operations in a 4 x 4 vehicle (HMMWV/SUV); 3) Tactical Combat Casualty Care; and 4) Tactical Pistol/Carbine and High Angle Marksmanship, Mobility Battle Drills Training. Contractor must be able to provide all four areas of training. Training may be conducted at the Contractor's location or at Camp Swift, Bastrop, TX. The magnitude of the contract will be between 1 and 3 events (any combination of four training areas) a year. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to provide contracted services. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 611699, All Other Miscellaneous Schools and Instruction. This anticipated contract will consist of a Base Award Period of one (1) calendar year, and 1 one-year option period. Total contract period, to include options, shall not exceed two (2) calendar years. This synopsis is provided for informational purposes, and is not to be considered a request for proposal. Solicitation Number W912L1-11-R-0011 is assigned for reference purposes. The entire solicitation will be made available on or about 30 January 2011 via the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition to Business Website located at: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. The required response date will be stated in the solicitation. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. Please be advised that hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available; you must download solicitation documents from the ASFI. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) in order to transact business with the government. Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the CCR may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in the CCR at the time of award. Interested offerors are strongly encouraged to submit their representations and certifications on-line at http://orca.bpn.gov.
