Description
A MARKET SURVEY is being conducted to determine if there are a reasonable number of interested small businesses to set this future project aside for them. If your firm is a certified HUBZONE, 8A or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business and you are interested in the project respond appropriately. The planned project it to design and construct a 60 foot radio tower, solar panels, solar batteries and equipment storage structure at Rainbow Point, Bryce Canyon National Park, Kane County, Utah. The contractor will be required to run electrical wiring into the structure from the solar panels. The contractor will be required to install and connect antenna transmission cables from the antennas, properly secured to the tower and grounded to Motorola R-56 standards, and secure the lines into the structure. Both antennas would be installed by the contractor. The equipment storage structure is estimated to be a 6x10 structure with a concrete base will be required to be placed within 10 feet of the tower. This structure is going to be required to withstand the weight of 15 feet of snow. A concrete structure is recommended. The structure will require a metal door with locking handle, minimum 36 inches wide. An underground conduit will be installed between the tower and the structure. The structure's grounding system must meet Motorola R-56 standards and be integrated into the tower's grounding system. NAICS Code is 237130 with a small business size standard of $33.5M. The estimated construction magnitude is $100K to $250K.
