Description

The U.S. Census Bureau intends to negotiate, on an other than full and open basis, under the Authority of FAR Part 6, Subparts 6.301 and 6.302, with National Mailing Systems, for a regional office accounting system upgrade, including support for U.S.P.S. multi-systems full conversion and data transfer. This notice is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. Interested parties may submit a capabilities statement no later than 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time on January 20, 2011 to Jen Abbott, Contract Specialist, at Jennifer.M.Abbott@Census.gov. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice, but capability statements will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative response is received within 15 days from the publication of this synopsis, a contract may be issued to National Mailing Systems. Any other questions or concerns may also be sent via email to Jen Abbott, as no phone calls will be honored.
