- Description
- The Defense Logistics Agency - Troop Support is soliciting proposals for the supply of Injectable Flu Vaccine for the 2011-2012 flu season. Approximately 2.49 million doses are included in this requirement. (Quantities may increase or decrease pending receipt of Service requirements.) The vaccines shall be in the 5 following presentations: 10-dose vials for immunizing individuals 18 years and older, (approx. 48,000 vials); 10-pack or 5-pack prefilled syringes for immunizing individuals 18 years and older, (approx. 82,000 packages); 10-dose vials for immunizing individuals 36 months and older, (approx. 46,000 vials); 10-pack prefilled syringes for immunizing individuals 36 months and older, (approx. 56,000 packages); and 10-pack prefilled syringes for immunizing individuals 6 months to 35 months, (approx. 17,000 packages). Shall be in accordance with the USP. Other specification data included in the solicitation. Successful contractor must have FDA approval. National Stock Numbers will be established at time of award. An indefinite quantity contract is proposed. The quantities indicated are annual estimates only. The guaranteed minimum will be 75% of the annual estimate, and a contract maximum will be established at 150% of the annual estimate. All quantities shall be delivered to the Defense Depot New Cumberland PA. The contractor shall deliver 70% of the requirement by August 31, 2011, and the balance by September 2011. This delivery schedule is the preferred delivery schedule. Other delivery schedules will be considered.
