Description
This is not a solicitation announcement and should not be construed as such. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (HubZone, 8(a), Small Business, Small Disadvantaged, etc) relative to NAICS 621498 (size standard of $10.0 million). Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published at www.fbo.gov website. Responses to this sources sought notice are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this sources sought announcement. The Veteran Affairs Illiana Health Care System (VAIHCS), Danville, IL is performing pre-solicitation market research to determine potential business sources and set-aside possibilities for Sleep Study Services, including registered polysomnographic technologists and all necessary equipment for two (2) or more simultaneous polysomnograms per night (approx 11 hours), 600 studies per year on-site. If you are interested and capable of providing the required services, please provide the requested information as indicated below. The intended contract will be a base year with four (4) one-year option periods. Contractor shall provide technologists, technical support personnel, medical and telecommunication equipment, supplies and supervision necessary to perform, implement and administer sleep study services to meet the needs of VAIHCS. All physicians shall be board-certified sleep physicians. The Contractor shall not subcontract any portion of these services. Potential sources must demonstrate experience and knowledge of required services and capability to provide such services. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their capabilities. Potential sources should identify business name, point of contact, business size and any applicable business socio-economic category (i.e. small business, SDVOSB, VOSB, etc), service capability statement, provide information for recent and relevant projects similar in nature, DUNS number, address and any additional information felt to be pertinent. The NAICS code for this procurement is 621498 and the small business size standard is $10.0 million average annual receipts for preceding three (3) years. Responses to this notice shall be emailed, faxed or mailed to the attention of Jaime Krystyniak, Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, 1481 W. 10th Street (90CSC), Indianapolis, IN 46202. This notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. VAIHCS IS NOT SEEKING PRICING OR OFFERS OF ANY KIND. There is no guarantee, expressed or implicit, that the market research for this acquisition will result in a particular set-aside or sole source award, or any other guarantee of award strategy.
