- On or about 06 January 2011, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Omaha District will issue a solicitation for a Digital Voice Recording System with installation and training provided with the equipment. The solicitation will be a Commercial Item Supply under NACIS 423430 for an "NEC" brand name item. The award will be made on the basis of low-price - technically acceptable offer. The solicitation will close on or about 21 January 2011. This solicitation is RESTRICTED TO SMALL BUSINESS PARTICIPATION. Description: Digital voice recording system Equipment must be an NEC product that will integrate with the following: 1. Existing NEAX 2400 IMS Internet Protocol Exchange PBX - Mirrored to a second NEAX 2400 IMS. This may require a second set of software so that both switches remain identical. 2. Existing Dterm Series E telephones 3. Existing Dterm PS II wireless 2-line phones 4. Existing Standard Analog phones 5. Existing NEAXMail AD-40 Voice Processing System Requirements of new equipment: 1. Must be capable of recording on a minimum of 12 ports with 4 of those being analog. 2. Must be capable of recording conversations from NEC Dterm Series E telephones and at least 4 PSII wireless lines and standard analog phones. 3. Equipment must be capable of identifying all recordings with: a) Date b) Time of call c) Extension Number receiving call d) Number of origin (caller ID#) e) Voice conversation f) Time call concluded g) Phone conversations can be found bydate, time of day, extension number or incoming phone number. 4. Records must be able to be backed up on an external hard drive that can be reviewed as needed on a future date. 5. Any required software, firmware, drivers or equipment needed to hear recording and view data from data collected. Requirements for Delivery/Installation, Certification and Minimum Warranty: 1. Delivery will be to the final installation site - Fort Peck Power Plant, 23 Power House Road, Fort Peck, MT 2. Installation will occur at 23 Power House Road, Fort Peck, MT 3. Installation will be performed by a certified NEC technician. Proof of certification will be required. 4. Minimum warranty for all equipment and firmware, software will be 1 year from date of acceptance. 5. Delivery, installation and training will be performed before July 30, 2011. 6. Training will be for 2-4 persons, will take place on site and be conducted immediately after installation is completed. 7. Vendor will supply instruction manuals and appropriate equipment documentation and two (2) training manuals. Onsite setup, verification of proper operation and training for electronics personnel required. Training will include how to use the recording system, how to search for calls and copy them onto storage media in bulk or single events.
