(Subject Continued) Services The following answers are in response to the corresponding questions from Industry recieved as of 06 January 2011, 12:00 PM. Q1. What date is the RFI submission due? A1. The RFI response is due on 10 January 2011. Q2. What time is the RFI response due on January 10th 2011? A2. The RFI response is due by 4:30 PM Eastern Standard Time on 10 January 2011. Q3. Should the RFI response be submitted electronically or paper copy? A3. A single copy of the RFI is to be e-mailed to David Hansen at david.e.hansen1@us.army.mil or Stephen Jenniss at Stephen.Jenniss@us.army.mil. Please do not submit paper copies of the RFI response, they will not be accepted. Q4. What documents can be submitted in the RFI response? A4. The following documents may be submitted in response to the RFI: Document 1.Past and current products your company offers which most closely match the capabilities specified to include any available product brochures, specification sheets, photographs, illustration and technical descriptions which describe your company's current products which most closely match these capabilities. Document 2.A "White Paper" (no more than 10 pages in length) describing how your company's products and technical expertise could produce and deliver such a capability. Document 3.Your company's past and current customers to which you provided similar products, including a customer/company name and point of contact, phone number and address/e-mail where they can be contacted. Document 4.Responses to the RFI questions. Documents must be submitted in Microsoft Office Word 2007 or PDF format. Each document may be e-mailed separately. The location has changed from the contracting center at Fort Dix, New Jersey to the contracting center at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland, thus the reason for the change in solicitation number. Q6. Will responses to RFI W91LV2-10-R-0011 still be considered? A6. Both RFI's are for market research only. Continue to watch ASFI/Federal Business Opportunity Page for additional information. Q7. Does this response supersede a response to the RFI for W91LV2-10-R-0011? A7. Both RFI's are for market research only not for evaluation. Q8. Will the RFI be used to select those businesses who are invited to bid on the proposal? A8. No - the RFI is for market research only. Q9. Is a Draft RFP expected to be released this month? A9. No date for the release of a Draft RFP has been determined. Q10. Can contractors meet on a one-on-one individual basis with the GTACS team? A10. No - questions will be accepted via e-mail through the contracting office (e-mail to David Hansen at david.e.hansen1@us.army.mil or Stephen Jenniss at Stephen.Jenniss@us.army.mil). Answers will be provided via ASFI/FEDBIZOPS under solicitation number W15P7T-11-R-C001. Q11. Does the RFI NAICs code include Manufactures only and exclude Integrators and support services. A11. No - the NAICs code only reflects what is anticipated to be the greatest portion of the effort. It does not exclude contractors providing support services or integrator services. All industry responses to the RFI are welcomed. Q12. Are 750 employees too large for a small business? A12. No - The U. S. Small Business Administration Table of Small Business Size Standards Matched to North American Industry Classification System Codes, which can be located at http://www.sba.gov/sites/default/files/Size_Standards_Table.pdf, lists the size standards in number of employees for the RFI NAICs code 334290 as 750. Q13. Will there be a small business set-aside for this procurement? A13. At this time a multiple award contract is planned with small business set-aside procedures for orders below a threshold yet to be determined. Q14. Will there be an opportunity to see the sample tasks before the final RFP? A14. At this time there is no plan to release the sample tasks before the final RFP. Q15. Will Tasks 4 and 5 be removed or only sample tasks associated with those two categories eliminated? A15. At this time Sample Tasks 4 'Special Projects' and Sample Task 5 'Small Business' have been removed from the effort.
