- This notice is provided for informational purposes only. This opportunity is available only to CGI Federal, Inc., the current holder of "The Provider Enrollment, Chain and Ownership System (PECOS) task order. This task order was awarded to CGI Federal, Inc. after being competed amongst the Enterprise Systems Development (ESD) IDIQ Contract holders. Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) determined this work is within scope of the existing task order and intends to issue a change order under an existing contract with CGI Federal Inc of Fairfax, VA, for the design and development of systems functionality to enable implementation of the HITECH Act. The task order modification shall be a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) effort, to assist the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Financial Management Systems Group (FMSG) in the implementation of the CMS HITECH initiative created by Title XIII of Division A, Health Information Technology, and Title IV of Division B, Medicare and Medicaid Health Information Technology of the ARRA.
