THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS OR REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES. INFORMATION RECEIVED WILL BE USED FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. No solicitation is currently available, and no unsolicited proposals will be entertained as a result of this Sources Sought notice. As a result of market research conducted already, at least one qualified small business was identified. The resulting competitive procurement will be conducted as a small business set-aside, with the potential of being set-aside for a service disabled veteran owned small business (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339112, size standard and number of employees 500 or less. All interested small businesses are encouraged to respond to this announcement no later than Monday, January 24, 2011, 4:00 PM, by submitting an email with your qualifications to: Chris Humphrey, Contract Specialist, at Chris.Humphrey@va.gov. The subject line of the email should specifically read: "Sources Sought Announcement - Apollo Green Complete Treatment Room System." In addition, in your response, if you have the following items/services on a GSA or NAC contract, please provide the applicable contract number. REQUIREMENT IS AS FOLLOWS: I.Apollo Green Complete Treatment Room System Includes: 1 (One) AP-LG Solid State Line Laser, 3 (Three) AP-KG Solid State Crosshair Lasers, 1 (One) Remote Control Apollo, High precision, remote controlled DPSS patient alignment lasers for the linear accelerator or simulator room. Integrated mounting bracket allows for +/- 45 degree angulation of the laser. Thermostatically controlled active cooling system for laser life extension. Six micro motor driven remote control adjustments: - Right/left line movement - Up/down line movement - Line rotation - Two way horizontal line tilt - Two way vertical line tilt - Focus (line width) Size: (HxWxD) 200x110x100mm II.Installation of 1 set of room lasers by engineer. -Includes travel and expenses within the US/Canada and Latin America. III.In Service, Re-alignment, QA & Service and Training on Patient Positioning CT Simulation Laser System covering the following topics: -Nomenclature of System Wiring and connections -Mechanical Adjustments Control element -DORADO Navigator / Keypad -IsoMark-software CT Simulation -Isocenter Marking Procedures
