- We require the purchase of two laser systems. One must be able to deliver 1.5 Watts at the output with a mode-quality capable of allowing 50% coupling efficiency into a polarization-maintaining single-mode fiber. The second must be capable of 80 milliwatts with similar coupling efficiency. The lasers must be able to excite the Rubidium D2 transition at 780.24 nm, have linewidth less than 200 kHz and a tuning range of 30 GHz (mode hop free). We require a standard saturated absorption locking scheme and assorted electronics.
