Description

DLA ABERDEEN ISSUED A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) ON 12/14/2010. THIS REQUIREMENT WAS SYNOPSIZED 11-04-2010 UNDER THE NUMBER SPRBL1-11-Q-0001, WHICH WAS SUBSEQUENTLY CHANGED TO SPRBL1-11-R-0015. THE RESPONSE DATE SHOWN IS THE CLOSING DATE OF THE RFP, SPRBL1-11-R-0015. This Request for Proposal (RFP) will result in a five (5) year, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, for the purchase of: OEM: Skylight Avionics (0JVB4) NOMENCLATURE: Converter, Signal Data NSN: 5895-01-584-3349 P/N: 97080002-2 This part supports the AN/ARN-154 Tactical Air Navigation (TACAN) system which is utilized on the UH-60A/L/Q Black Hawk and CH-47 Chinook Helicopters. This effort shall be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work. B. The performance period will consist of ONE (1) 5-YEAR BASE PERIOD AND NO OPTION PERIODS, effective from date of award and continuing for five years from that date. C. Per FAR 52.216-22(b), minimum and maximum quantities/amounts are outlined below. The minimum and maximum quantities are the government's estimated quantities and should be used for planning purposes only. Proposed unit prices will be for spares of the items specified in Section B of this solicitation, for a period of five (5) years from the contract award date. All orders placed for spares during this time period shall be issued as priced delivery orders; therefore, offerors should insert Firm-Fixed prices for each year of the contract. All parts necessary to effect the spares shall be furnished by the contractor and shall be considered to have been included in the price of the spare. Minimum = 10 EA, Estimated Units/Yr = 30 EA, 5-Year Maximum = 250 EA ** A guarantee of 10 EA is provided for base year 1 of the contract only, and will be issued with the first order, to be placed within the first twelve (12) months of the contract effective date. No additional guarantee is given.** D. This solicitation does not contain any limitation on the maximum quantities that may be ordered over the life of the contract. Rather, it contains a monetary ceiling of $1,000,000.00 ($1M).
