- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation to be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE a purchase order using the simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 to: BAE Systems, 10920 Technology Pl, San Diego, CA 92127, for procurement of Software Support/Maintenance Renewal for GeoAnalysis Upgrade Entitlement. Include upgrades of software releases that occur. Phone support is included. PART #: 1002-UE. Intention is to award the above stated requirement directly to BAE Systems. The supplies/services required are available from only one source. Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Duration: Delivery to be made NLT 3/01/11. All quotations received within 3 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed purchase order/contract based on upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
