Request For Proposal Services Non-Personal: The Air Force intends to make an award on a competitive basis for a 100% Small Business set aside for the following service: the preparation of personal property of Department of Defense personnel for shipment and/or storage and related services through the Direct Procurement Method according to specific instructions contained in the Statement of Work (SOW). The service consists of packing, crating, and local drayage services identified in the SOW on an as required basis. There are no minimum quantities identified in the SOW. Services will be performed throughout multiple state counties throughout the state of Colorado. The contract line items are multiple, based on individual requirements and utilizing a Schedule system for such services. The successful contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, and tools to perform the work in accordance with the SOW. Government furnished containers shall be utilized where specified in the Schedule. The solicitation number is FA2517-10-R-6000. Complete instructions on what is required for proposal submissions are contained within this solicitation document. The solicitation is distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) web site http://www.fbo.gov/. This requirement will be accessible to those companies deemed eligible by the information they provided when they register with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) web site http://www.ccr.gov/ and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) web site http://bpn.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be available. The FBO web site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this solicitation, including any amendments and other general information, will also be distributed solely through this site. All interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have up-to-date information about this acquisition and are encouraged to monitor and register their company on the Interested Vendor List (IVL) and Register to Receive Notifications. The anticipated award will be a Firm Fixed Priced contract with a base award for twelve (12) months plus four (4) annual twelve-month option periods. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 488991 - Packing and Crating, with a small business size standard of $25,500,000.
