Description
This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation;offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for Four (each): 5 20 GHz Frequency Synthesizers. Frequency: 5 - 20 GHz; Frequency Resolution: 100 kHzmaximum ; Output power: plus 17 dBm, plus -1 dB; Spurious: less than -60 dBc; Harmonics:less than -50 dBc; External reference: 10 MHz sine wave, 0 dBm, plus/- 3 dB; OperatingTemp: 0 to plus 50 C; Alarm/lock detect signal: TTL, no lock = LOW); Digital ControlFormat: serial. Single-Sideband Phase Noise: Offset Frequency (min) SSB Phase Noise (dBc/Hz) (max) 100 Hz -73 1 kHz -94 10 kHz -100 100 kHz -110 1 MHz -125 RF connectors: SMA female; Case Size: minimum The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC _2005_-46http://nais.nasa.gov/far/. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 334419 and500 employees, respectively. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status forthis procurement. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Offers for the items(s) described above are due by close of business January 28, 2011, to NASA Glenn Research Center, Attn: Antoinette M. Niebieszczanski, 21000 Brookpark Road,Mail Stop 60-0, Cleveland, OH 44135 (antoinette.m.niebieszczanski@nasa.gov) and mustinclude, solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule,discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number(TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorizedcompany representative. If the end product(s) offered is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in theclause entitled 'Buy American Act -- Supplies,' the offeror shall so state and shall listthe country of origin. Offerors must include completed copies of the provision at 52.212-3 (AUG 2009), OfferorRepresentations and Certifications - Commercial Items with their offer.
