Description

Synopsis of Event: This session provides industry partners with an overview of the USMC capability requirement for the Squad Immersive Training Environment (SITE). The SITE Initial Capablity Document (ICD) was approved during 2010 and is programmed to begin acquisition research and development activities during 2012; Government Analysis of Alternative (AoA) is presently underway. Fulfilling SITE capability gaps will be key to future USMC immersive small unit training. No solicitations are presently contemplated or advertised by this synopsis; sessions are informational only. Two sessions, each the same in content, are being held in Orlando, FL and Quantico VA. Industry vendors are requested to limit attendance to a maximum of four persons cumulative total. The date and time of Session #1 are 3 Feb 2011, time 0900-1200, to be held at UCF Partnership III, 3100 Technology Blvd., Room 250, Orlando, FL 32826. The date and time of Session #2 are 10 Feb 2011, time 0900-1200, to be held at MCB Quantico Little Hall (Base Theatre), Quantico, VA 22134.
