The normal method of transmission for proposals should be by international courier or by mail; proposals submitted via e-mail will also be accepted, but not to replace submission via regular mail or hand delivery method. (see Section L of the RFP). The purpose of this Contract is to implement MRB-CCAP, which addresses information and policy gaps to provide communities in the basin with the guidance and support they need to develop sustainable integrated adaptation plans, increasing the resilience of rural communities to the negative impacts of climate change. The Contractor is responsible for implementing the tasks described in the statement of work below. The impetus for this program stems from the critical importance of addressing the impacts of global climate change (GCC), and in particular how these will negatively impact rural poor and the ecologically sensitive areas of the Mekong River Basin.
