- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 13, Simplified Acquisitions. This is a Brand Name Oracle/Sun Acquisition for an Information Technology Server Solution. Therefore, no substitution of Brand Name or part numbers is acceptable. In order to participate, you must be an Oracle/Sun Certified Gold Level Partner; please provide your Gold Level Certification letter with your quote submission. Additionally, the hardware must be in new, unused condition and the packaging seal unbroken. The Naval Inventory Control Point intends to award on a Firm Fixed Price, Lowest Price Technically Acceptable basis. The attachment includes the requirements page with the quantities, description and part numbers and the brand name justification. The customer is the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard shipping to Bremerton, WA 98314-5001. RFQ's are due by COB Thursday, 27 Jan 2011.
