Description
Dust Cleaning PWS This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA4877-11-Q-0132 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-48, Defense Circular Number 20110103 and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2010-1027. This procurement is being issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 561790. The contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, transportation, supervision, materials, equipment, and management, to provide the following: The contractor shall provide all equipment, tools, materials, transportation, personnel, labor, supervision, and management necessary to perform Dust and Wood Particles Cleaning and Removal Services for the 309th Aircraft Maintenance and Regeneration Group, at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base (DMAFB), Arizona. The contractor shall vacuum and clean all horizontal overhang surfaces above floor level, all vertical walls, stairway, and attic, active exhaust duct system including all riser ducts from machinery, all pipes, and on top of all surface areas that collect and hold dust. 0001 - Base Year; Period of Preformace (PoP), 14FEB2011 - 30SEP11 1001 - Option Period (2); (PoP), 1OCT11 - 30SEP12. 2001 - Option Period (2); (PoP), 1OCT12 - 30SEP13. 3001 - Option Period (3); (PoP), 1OCT13 - 30SEP14. 4001 - Option Period (4); (PoP), 1OCT14 - 30SEP15. *SEE ATTACHED PERFORMACE WORK STATEMENT (PWS) for COMPLETE DESCRIPTION. *NOTE: CLARIFICATIONS TO BE DISCUSSED AT SITE VISIT. Work shall commence 14 February 2011 through 30 September 2011, FOB: Destination for delivery to, AMARC, F1PT7A, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, AZ 85707. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. Quotes will be evaluated on price and technical acceptance. Offeror must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer. Clause 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services-The Government may require continued performance of any services within the limits and at the rates specified in the contract. These rates may be adjusted only as a result of revisions to prevailing labor rates provided by the Secretary of Labor. The option provision may be exercised more than once, but the total extension of performance hereunder shall not exceed 6 months. The Contracting Officer may exercise the option by written notice to the Contractor within 10 calendar days, applies to this acquisition. Clause 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract-(a) The Government may extend the term of this contract by written notice to the Contractor within 30 days; provided that the Government gives the Contractor a preliminary written notice of its intent to extend at least 60 days before the contract expires. The preliminary notice does not commit the Government to an extension. (b) If the Government exercises this option, the extended contract shall be considered to include this option clause. (c) The total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options under this clause, shall not exceed 5 years 6 months, applies to this acquisition.
