Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a Firm-Fixed-Price Delivery Order, under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-11-G-0001 to The Boeing Company, 6200 J S McDonnell Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63134 to provide ECP 282, Redesigned Fuel Couplings/Clamps, for the AV-8B Harrier Aircraft. This is a final buy of AFC-475 Part 2 A3 Kit part number 9475LKA344360KA and A4 Kit part number 9475LKA444361KA depot level installation kits. The Boeing Company shall deliver AFC-475 part 2 A3 Kit number 9475LKA344360KA and A4 Kit number 9475LKA444361KA depot level installation kits as per delivery schedule and in the following quantities: 1) AV-8B A3 kit buy quantity of 32 kits; and 2) TAV-8B A4 kit buy quantity of 2 kits ECP 282 replaces the current fuel couplings in the aircraft with improved safer fuel couplings and replaces a machined fitting. This fitting is of a proprietary design owned by the OEM and the U.S. Government does not have any drawings depicting the manufacturing process and or dimensions required to manufacture the machined coupling. Therefore the U.S. Government cannot supply data concerning these machined parts to any other interested party.
