- The Kentucky National Guard, United States Property and Fiscal Officer, Frankfort, Kentucky, intends to issue a Request for Quote on Solicitation # W912KZ-11-T- 0002 for three 1040kw, 1800rpm, portable multi-fuel generators and manual transfer switches to place at Wendell H. Ford Regional Training Center, Greenville, KY. The generators must have primary power from diesel fuel and have the operational capability to integrate a maximum of 70% natural gas into the fuel mixture to extend the run time before refueling is required. The vendor will be responsible for coordination and final placement at all locations. Connection to the new emergency system and connection to all existing infrastructure is to be performed by others. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 335312-Motor and Generator Manufacturing. The government intends to award a firm fixed price order. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13. This will be solicited as full and open competition and any interested party may submit a quote. The entire solicitation package for W912KZ-11-T-0002 will be made available on the Government Point of Entry (GPE), Fedbizopps website at http://www.fbo.gov/ on or about February 11, 2011. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates / amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a quote must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE code) and be registered with Central Contractor Registration (www.bpn.gov/ccr) prior to award.
