Description

NOTICE OF INTENT The VAMC Asheville, NC intends to award a contract for Readjustment Counseling services for its' Rutherfordton and Polk county Community Base Outpatient Client (CBOC) located in Greensboro, SC. The Government intends to award a contract with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(b). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the government will consider other responses received by the deadline. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Interested parties may, however, request further information (no later than 11:00 AM, EST, January 27, 2011 by email to Contract Specialist (Kathryn Avent-Ortega) at kathryn.avent-ortega@va.gov.
